Logistics Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Damage Prevention at Every Move

ADELCA has been designed to reduce damage and minimise claims resulting from impacts to the driver’s door.

Reference for guidance: repainting a door typically costs €300–€400, depending on the extent of the damage and the body shop.

Avoiding damage not only reduces financial costs; it also cuts administrative time and operational workload.

A Solution Aligned with the Industry

ADELCA is a comprehensive solution that contributes to a more sustainable, cost-effective, responsible and visible logistics operation.

How ADELCA Works

It’s simple to use and designed not to disrupt operations, regardless of the context (truck, rail, vehicle compound, vessel or container).

Position

Before accessing the vehicle, the driver positions the protection on the door edge in the area most at risk of impact.

Attach

Thanks to its calibrated magnetic fixing, the protection stays securely in place and won’t fall off during the trip.

Protect

Each trip involves two door openings when getting into and out of the vehicle. The protection absorbs any potential impact.

Reuse

Once the trip is complete, the protection is removed and ready to be reused on upcoming vehicles and trips.

Design & Technical Specifications

The ADELCA protection is built from technical materials selected for intensive outdoor use:

Anti-impact technical foam

A padded foam core made from a technical grade specifically designed for use in wet conditions, with a high impact-absorption capacity.

Calibrated magnetic attachment

Protected magnetic system with two adhesion levels, integrated into the product core, ensuring stable attachment and safe removal.

Non-abrasive technical fabric

Non-abrasive technical fabric outer layer. Suitable for prolonged use without damaging the paintwork. Available in corporate colours and fully customisable.

Hands-free fastening system

Fastening system available to suit your operation: elastic strap or loop. Keeps hands free, meeting health and safety (H&S) requirements.

It does not alter or interfere with any vehicle component and is compatible exclusively with metallic surfaces. It does not adhere to plastic or aluminium parts.

Sustainability

Sustainability is part of ADELCA’s DNA and is a direct result of its use

It is underpinned by two key factors that deliver a real and measurable impact:

  1. High effectiveness that reduces the environmental footprint associated with repairs.
  2. Elimination of single-use adhesive foam blocks that generate millions of waste items and end up being discarded.

Effectiveness that reduces the environmental footprint

Effectivenes

Less damage

Fewer repairs

Fewer chemicals

Lower energy use

Fewer claims management

Elimination of adhesive foam blocks

Reuse

1 protector
1 driver

Eliminate single-use adhesive foam blocks

Less adhesive

Less material waste

Lower environmental footprint

Efficiency that reduces repairs, reusability that eliminates waste.

Order & Customisation

Client meeting

We analyse your operation from start to finish — loading, unloading, parking and vehicle handling at every stage — to understand your real needs.

We identify the contact points and highest-risk moments to guide the solution that best fits your case.

Technical consultation

With the context defined, we provide technical guidance to help you choose the option that best fits your operation.

We review with you how it works, the improvements it delivers, and we provide guidance on use and maintenance to achieve maximum effectiveness and durability.

Product customisation

We define the customisation with you to ensure it fits your operation and your brand: the protector colour, your logo and the type of branding/printing.

Additionally, we configure the retention system (longitudinal elastic, loop, or no retention) and the magnetic holding force level, in Standard or Adhesion Plus.

Digital preview

We will create a digital preview of how your protector will look, so you can visualise the final result.

This allows us to validate it with you and, if needed, apply adjustments before starting production.

Local manufacturing

We start production at our regular local textile workshop.

Each protector is handcrafted, with stitching and finishing carefully tailored to the chosen customisation. The result is a unique piece, made to suit your operation.
